Moms' Connection

The mission of Moms' Connection Ministry is to provide a community through which mothers can be mentored, prayed with, listened to and encouraged.  Moms' Connection aims to further growth in parenting skills and in our wholeness as women: emotionally, intellectually, relationally and spiritually.

Moms' Connection Ministry provides a Biblically-based curriculum that helps women foster their relationship with their husbands and children. It includes quality video instruction in parenting, small group discussion and the interaction of more experienced mothers with younger moms.  Moms' Connection is designed to be both a place of nurture for committed Christian women and a "safe place" to bring friends who may be seeking to be a part of a church community.

What happens at Moms' Connection?
After dropping off children in the childcare-preschool rooms, we gather in the Sanctuary for a video lecture.  Occasionally, throughout the year, Moms' Connection Ministry will host guest speakers who will come to discuss topics that relate to us as women, mothers, and wives.
After a short coffee break, a mentoring mom will guide your small group in a time of prayer and open discussion.  The small group time provides women with a sense of belonging and a unique opportunity to share the joys and frustrations of raising children with other mothers who can relate.

MotherWise

Fall 2007: Wisdom for Mothers

Wisdom for Mothers is a ten-week study that will help you find Biblical answers to your important questions about marriage, children and work. In addition to the Bible study, you will learn to improve your mothering skills and will find helpful mothering tips designed for moms of all ages at the end of each lesson. Based on Proverbs 31.

Spring 2008: Freedom for Mothers

For ten weeks you will take a journey into God’s Word to discover the fullness and freedom you can experience as a woman and as a mother. You will find the source to fill your “love bucket,” recognize common mothering traps and deal decisively with self-defeating habits. Based on John 15.

Registration information

The program runs from September 2007-May 2008

A $50 registration fee is required upon registration.

There is a fee for childcare TBA.

Please be sure to register your children on the registration form to ensure space availability.

Preschool & child care program

Moms' Connection includes infant/toddler care through age 2 and a Bible-based preschool program for children ages 2 through 5.

Moms' Connection is for mothers with children of all ages!

Spaces fill quickly on a first come-first served basis; so please do not delay in registering.

There are scholarships available for those with financial needs.
