"Blessed to be a
Blessing" |

Genesis 12: 1-3
- The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people
and your father's household and go to the land I will show you.
- "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I
will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
- I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will
curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."
Matthews 22: 34-40, 28: 18-20
- Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got
together.
- One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
- “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
- Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind.’
- This is the first and greatest commandment.
- And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
- All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
- Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on
earth has been given to me.
- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
- and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
