George & Ann Harper- Croatia

George and Anne spent 11 years teaching in the Philippines. In January 2007 they moved to Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia. The school draws students from across Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. George serves as Professor of Christian History and Theology and Director of Doctoral Studies. He is planning a new Ph.D. Program for the school. Anne assists George and teaches in the areas of missiology and spiritual formation.

Harvest Hands

Gary and Terry Mathewson - Mexico

Free Church has partnered with Harvest Hands since its inception in 1999. Harvest Hands supports and develops programs that preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, feed the hungry and give relief to the oppressed. In August of 2004, they completed construction on a new sanctuary for a local church in Guadalupe. Currently, they are constructing a mission in Juarez that includes a home for 50 impoverished children. Their work includes feeding programs, Mexican Student Sponsorship, providing medical care, clothing, bibles, distributing wheelchairs and sharing the Word and love of God.

HCJB Global

Bruce and Cherith Rydbeck – Ecuador

Bruce is a civil engineer directing HCJB’s community development potable water projects program. He is currently committed to help build seven complete community water systems, design seven more, and drill a dozen wells. On the weekends he leads a Bible study group for prisoners at Garcia Moreno Penitentiary in Quito. Cherith dedicates the majority of her time to ministry to women, including Bible study, seminars, editing mission publications and is doing a master’s degree in counseling. They have hosted work teams from various churches to work in the communities served by the water projects.

Hope for the Children of Haiti

Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Hope for the Children of Haiti runs a school and orphanage in an impoverished village near Port-au-Prince. Along with providing practical care, HFC seeks to raise up the next generation of Haitian leaders who are committed to serving God. HFC employs fellow Haitians to teach and care for the sixty children at the orphanage. Pastor Dan Dzikowicz is a past Director and continues to serve on the board of HFC.

Leonel and Belgica supervise church planting and mission growth through their training of leaders, organizing seminary programs in urban areas, and development of Bible training programs. Leonel also broadcasts a Christian radio program. The mission field is growing rapidly and they are in constant need for prayer, financial partnership and new missionaries.

N.E.W. Missions

George & Jeanne DeTellis – Haiti and the Dominican Republic

The DeTellises started working in rural Leogune, Haiti in 1983. Now New Missions has ten churches, a medical clinic, ten preschools, ten elementary schools, a high school, a college and a Missions Training Center. Six thousand four hundred students attend New Missions schools. Each student receives a Christian education and a chance to respond to the love of God. Thanks to the child sponsorship program, these children also receive a hot meal each day, a school uniform, textbooks, medical care, and more.

New Europe Vision

Dr. Peter Kuzmic - Croatia & Bosnia

Dr. Kuzmic teaches at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and is a citizen of Croatia. Evangelical Theological Seminary (ETS) is located in Osijek, Croatia and provides an evangelical education to over 300 students who come from central and eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. In 2006, a new four-story “Learning Center” was completed and now facilitates a richer environment for training, education, and library resources. This new building stands as a symbol of God’s faithfulness to a devastated region and the seminary’s vision to send workers into the harvest.

Wycliffe Bible Translators

Janet and Oscar Huarac - Peru

Oscar and Janet Huarac work with Wycliffe Bible Translators in the country of Peru. Currently, they are working with the Chiquián & Cajatambo Quechua people groups high in the Andes Mountains. These people have no Scriptures in their own language, and while they speak Spanish, Quechua is their heart language. Oscar and Janet praise God that recently the Cajatambo people received experimental copies of a dramatic recording of selections of Genesis 1-22 along with written copies. This is the first material that they have been able to prepare for the people and they pray that God will work in their hearts to crave more.
