Our purpose
Our world seems to get more and more complex each year. As a church with a missions focus, the world around us challenges us to live out our faith in Christ in the context of a nation with many creeds and a world endangered by religious fanaticism. While the context of missions is complex and ever-changing, the motivation is simple and unchanging: people need the Lord. Christ is not western; he is Lord of all. His love compels us to help those in need and witness to people everywhere.
Missions and Service at FCC
Missions involvement and giving have continued to increase each year. The decision of so many of our members to invest their time and money in outreach has made an ever-increasing impact, locally and in places across the world. The Missions Committee stewards these resources and helps make our outreach effective. Guided by our Missions Strategy and Vision Statement, we have prioritized the many requests we receive for support, built closer relationships with our missionaries, and provided opportunities for members to know them.
